After an initial meeting both Mr. Bertel and Mr. Pryba agreed that Mr. Bertel’s work should be exposed to an international audience—his work is dedicated to portraying the fragile beauty of the Columbian rain forest and its inhabitants. A respected lawyer, Mr. Bertel went into the jungle to paint, exclusively in water color, in order to express himself and showcase the fragility and importance of preserving this world resource. Pryba Fine Art will donate 5% of sales to charity to help save the rain forest.
